I have been patronizing this stall since Ah Chye's father. His father used to sell the Hainan Satay on a tricycle. After his father has passed away, he took over the business.
Hainan Satay is different from the Malay Satay because it is less spicy and gravy/sauce is made from mashed potatoes instead of peanuts.

Sam Ong, Eat Out, I am an enthusiast follower of you and hope to come a time in Penang to try the G&C places that you advice. In Khonkaen, Isaan, Thailand, where I lived for 1 and 1/2 year, there are also many places of G&C food on the street. I think that these places are a cultural richnessand often a delice of the taste. I appreciate you. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHi G. Prati,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much.
Hope that you will drop by Penang one day and I will make it your day.
Wow! That's cool place to put up there. Where you have Laos in the North, Cambodia in the South and Vietnam in the East. Give me another 2 years and i will visit you. :)
You are most welcome.
